The solid wood bedroom set was all original and had been in my clients family. She wanted to update it and make redo her sons bedroom for his "big boy" room.
I did both dressers, the mirror, the headboard and footboard. I lightly distressed edging and then I mixed dark wax on the tops of the dressers to give them a little more pop and extra durability for wear over the years.
Annie Sloan paint is durability. It stands up to wear without scratching unlike any other "chalk paint" replica that I've tried over the years!
The finished bedroom photo was sent to me almost exactly 1 year after I painted the set. It looks as good as the day I dropped it to her!
I'm so blessed to have clients like this one and here's what she had to say...
"We finally got my little boys room finished! The furniture you painted looks awesome! I can't tell you how much I love it! I have a few items I'm going to want painted in the future..are you still doing it?"
Customer testimonials and their desire to work with me again is a bonus to my being able to do what is my passion!
