As I glanced at the icons on my chrome browser and on the homepage of my smartphone, I realized how many apps and browser extensions I use on a daily basis that play a major role in either saving money or making money.

Back in 2009 when I was a coupon and frugal living blogger, it took a lot of work and planning to maximize savings and generate extra income. These days as technology continues to advance, it is literally all right at our fingertips. Very little effort is required to take advantage of the extra savings offered on purchases you are making anyways and earning cash rebates from those purchases without having to jump through hoops!
