CHINA HUTCH MAKEOVER IN ANNIE SLOAN CUSTOM MIXED COLOR

I was so excited to work on this custom ordered piece! My client was newlywed and needed a china hutch that had a minimum of 16" height between the interior shelving in order to fit her Wedding China. That proved to be a harder task than I thought!

It took me several weeks to find the perfect piece that had those dimensions, but also enough shape & curves to suit her style! But I knew the moment I saw it, she would be a beauty once painted.

I did a custom mix of Annie Sloan Graphite, Paris Gray and Old Violet for the exterior and Old White on the interior. That really made the vintage glass etching pop! The outside needed something so of course I added my own little touches with Old White on the beautiful arch details and handles.

It looks beautiful in her home!

NEVER get rid of grandmas old outdated china cabinet! The transformation is awesome!
