WHILE I'VE BEEN AWAY....THRIFTY PROJECTS + SHOPS ON DEPOT OWNERSHIP

Yes....I know...it's been too long to mention a little while since I've posted here on the blog. I promise there is good reason! It's not that I haven't been painting, up-cycling, creating and DIY'ing like a mad woman all this time. So much so that my contract based, help a friend get her re-sale business started and then get back to stocking my own vendor booths went from that....to a partnership....and then officially became my own in December. It's been very exciting.

So, yes! I am finally announcing that my lack of blogging is because I am now the mega busy, no sleep, DIY and paint til I drop owner of Shops On Depot, located on Main Street, here in Albemarle, NC. We currently have 50+ Vendor booths and of course, my own Thrifty Little Things are featured throughout the store :D

I plan to write more soon to share, as we are continuing to grow the business and "overhauling" the look and feel of the physical building in true DIY on a budget style. I can't wait to share with you all!

In the meantime...here are some recent projects I've completed. And, yes, of course, I am still die hard Annie Sloan on all my furniture makeovers, despite having tried every other brand, as well as all the "make your own chalk paint" recipes floating out here in the virtual world. So, here goes...quite a few of my most recent projects - maybe they will keep you busy until I get enough time to post again with updates on all that's new and coming soon for me with ownership of Shops On Depot!
