THRIFTING TUESDAY: MY THRIFT STORE FINDS TODAY

Picking has been slim the last week or so on my thrift outings, but the minute I walked in the door at one of my local spots this morning, this pair of chairs were screaming my name! I had to snap this shot with my phone and the color is totally off...they are a beautifully aged and warm off white with a bit of yellowing that is pure perfection.

I can't wait to recover the seats...I'm already brainstorming on what type of pattern will do the intricate woodwork details justice.

Isn't it just heavenly?

The best part? I picked them up for just 20 bucks each!!! The cashier did not have to tell me twice - the minute she said $20 I asked for the sold sign and made my hubs stand with them until I paid :D

I'll be working on these 2 beauties and will share again once I restore them to their glory. They have such beautiful bare bones, I smile just looking at them now!

No other major projects going on for me this week. My daughter requested a makeover on this very worn out and dingy nightstand in her favorite colors of black & pink. Here's the before....

And during.....

I have a couple LITTLE details I'll be adding to spruce up her boxy and plain craftmanship and should have the reveal ready in the next day or so.

I think I'll be on cloud 9 from my chair find for at least a couple more days!
