DIXIE BELLE COLOR COMBINATIONS: BLUEBERRY + DRIFTWOOD TABLE MAKEOVERS

I love painting multi-color pieces and it can be hard sometimes to choose the right colors that will compliment each other and bring out details the way you may envision in your mind.

Painting with the Dixie Belle Chalk & Mineral Paint palette lately, I've found several color combinations that are perfect together.

The first color combo I wanted to share with you is one of my faves....Blueberry & Driftwood. These two Dixie Belle Paint colors look like they were made to go together!

Driftwood is the perfect neutral grey and I use it alone and with many other colors in the Dixie Belle lineup. It's one of my favorites and a must have for your own color choices!
Below you can see 2 of my most recent project with them, and I think they both turned out great! The nightstand with drawers sold before I could get it to the booth!

Next time you grab your paint at The Albemarle Marketplace, these 2 make for a beautiful color combination for your next project! I'll be sharing more color combos soon!

DIXIE BELLE VINTAGE TABLE MAKEOVER IN DROP CLOTH

I knew when I scored this vintage table that it was going to be perfect for a makeover in Dixie Belle Drop Cloth. Such gorgeous details on the doors! It's the perfect size for a nightstand or end table, or even for extra storage in a bathroom or wherever needed! Drop Cloth by Dixie Belle Chalk & Mineral Paint allows for it to match any decor colors too!

Below you can see the full transformation starting with it's very old and time worn appearance into it's now perfectly imperfect state.

It took just one coat of Dixie Belle Paint in Drop Cloth, using my favorite premium chalk paint brush. I sanded lightly all over and then paid more attention sanding edges and the doors to bring out all the beautiful details.

One coat of clear wax to seal for years to come and she was done!

It turned out so beautifully, this is another that I had a hard time taking to the booth! But she's there now waiting on a new home!
